We can do it.
Hi, my name is Sarah, and I am a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner (PLMHP) and provisionally licensed certified master social worker (PCMSW) in Nebraska. I started Adolescent Ally Therapy after working as a high school special education teacher and seeing how great of a need there is for mental health services inside of schools.
Parents and caretakers are busy, and when a child is struggling with their mental health, it can quickly become overwhelming. By providing therapy in schools, I eliminate the extra trip to another appointment and meet kids where they already are—in a space that feels familiar and comfortable. Being in the school setting also allows me to collaborate more easily with teachers and staff to better understand what’s going on day to day and work together on a plan for progress.
I am trained in Multidimensional Grief Therapy (MGT) and Trauma Affect Regulation: Guide for Education and Therapy (TARGET), and I offer these evidence-based approaches either as focused, short-term treatment models or integrated into ongoing, individualized therapy. These modalities are especially supportive for clients working through grief, loss, or trauma-related challenges.
In addition to school-based services, I also offer therapy sessions in an office setting and through telehealth. This provides flexibility for families who prefer or need appointments outside of the school environment and across Nebraska.
Reach out today and schedule a free consultation. It’s the first step on a path that leads to greater happiness for the adolescent in your life.
